 Pork with Balsam Pear
Feature: slightly bitter
Serves 1 to 2 and ready in 15-20 min

Ingredients
- 100g pork
- 400g balsam pear
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Szechuan hot bean sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation (10 min)
- Cut balsam pear into halves widthwise
- Remove seeds and cut to thin slices
- Cut pork into think slices and marinate in soy sauce, cornstarch for 5 min
Instruction (5-10 min)
- Heat vegetable oil until hot
- Slide in pork and stir-fry until white
- Remove and leave oil in wok
- Reheat remaining oil and stir in balsam pear
- Add pork, Szechuan hot bean sauce and stir-fry with high heat for a few
seconds
- Pour in 2 teaspoons water, soy sauce and sprinkle in salt
- Cover tightly and simmer for 2 min
- Place in a plate and serve
