Mutton with Onion

Ingredients

  • 300g mutton
  • 30g onion
  • 8 stalks spring onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Preparation (5 min)

  • Cut mutton into thin slices and marinate in soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch for 10 min
  • Cut onion and garlic into thin slices
  • Cut spring onion into sections
  • Mix 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch with water as sauce

Instruction (5-10 min)

  • Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil until hot
  • Slide in mutton and stir-fry with high heat for 1 min
  • Remove mutton and set aside
  • Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil until hot
  • Add onion, garlic, spring onion and stir-fry for 2 min
  • Return mutton to wok and pour in sesame oil, vinegar, sugar
  • Stir-fry for another 2 min
  • Pour in mixed cornstarch sauce
  • Stir until well combined and serve
