Pork with Carrot

Ingredients

  • 200g pork
  • 400g carrot
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 300g vegetable oil (consume 50g only)
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon rice wine
  • 2 teaspoons sweet fermented flour sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Preparation (5 min)

  • Cube pork and carrot
  • Marinate cubed pork in 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch and water
  • Mix sweet fermented flour sauce, soy sauce, sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, rice wine, 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch, and water as sauce

Instruction (10 min)

  • Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil until hot
  • Slide in cubed pork and stir-fry until cooked through
  • Remove pork and set aside
  • Heat vegetable oil until hot and fry cubed carrot until cooked through
  • Remove carrot and set aside
  • Heat sesame oil until hot
  • Pour in prepared sauce and stir until thickened
  • Add carrot and pork
  • Stir until well combined and serve
