Steamed Eggplant with Garlic Sauce

Steamed Eggplant with Garlic Sauce

Serves 1 to 2 and ready in 35 min

Ingredients:

  • 1 eggplant (around 350g)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 stalk cilantro
  • 8 cloves garlic

Preparation: (5 min)

  • Chop cilantro
  • Peel the eggplant and cut into the thick strips
  • Crush garlic in a mortar and pestle

Instruction: (30 min)

  • Put eggplant in a steamer and steam for 25 min
  • Remove and drain well
  • Add sesame oil, garlic, salt, sesame paste and cilantro to eggplant
  • Stir until well combined and serve
