 Stewed Pork Leg with Peanuts

Ingredients:
- 150g pork leg
- 50g peanuts
- 2 stalks spring onion
- 7 slices of ginger
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder (optional)
- 2 teaspoons salt
Preparation: (5 min)
- Chop pork leg into chunks
- Cut spring onion into 4-5 sections
- Wash peanuts, discarding impurities
Instruction: (60 min)
- Put pork leg in boiling water and add 3 slices of ginger, rice wine
- Cook for 10 min to get rid of smell and blood
- Remove pork leg and drain
- Put pork leg, peanuts, ginger, and spring onion in empty wok
- Add water to wok and make sure water level is above pork leg
- Cover and heat wok with high heat until boiling
- Lower heat to simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender
- Sprinkle salt, pepper powder and serve
