Fish-Flavored Shredded Pork

Feature: fragrant, sour & sweet
Serves 1 to 2 and ready in 15-20 min

Ingredients

  • 200g shredded pork
  • 70g soaked black fungus
  • 30g pickled chili pepper
  • 2 stalks spring onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 5 slices ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Preparation (10 min)

  • Marinate shredded pork in 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch with some water
  • Mince ginger, garlic, and spring onion
  • Mix sugar, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, minced ginger, garlic, spring onion, and cornstarch with some water as sauce
  • Shred black fungus thinly

 

Instruction (5-10 min)

  • Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil until hot
  • Slide in shredded pork and stir-fry for a few seconds
  • Add pickled chili pepper and stir-fry until pork changes color
  • Stir in black fungus  and pour in prepared sauce
  • Stir until well-combined and serve
