 Braised Pork in Soy Sauce with Shiitake Mushroom

Serves 1 to 2 and ready in 65-75 min

Ingredients
- 500g pork belly
- 20g shiitake mushroom
- 1 stalk spring onion
- 5 slices of ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
Preparation (15 min)
- Cut pork into 1-inch chunks
- Cut shiitake mushroom into halves
- Cut the spring onions into 4 or 5 sections
Instruction (50-60 min)
- Place pork chunks, shiitake mushroom, ginger, and spring onion in
wok
- Fill the wok with water and make sure water level is a bit below the
pork
- Add sugar, soy sauce, rice wine, and cover
- Heat the wok over high heat till boiling
- Lower heat to simmer for 50 min or until meat is tender
